Any chance there's a DW account for this? My LJ will be a thing of the past soon and I'd still like to participate.

Unfortunately, no DW account.

What I can do is open non-LJ user sign-ups. When it comes time to announce your gift to the community, you'll just have to fill out the form and send it to me; then I'll post it.
