Willing to beta a fic for someone? Comment here! Let prospective writers know what you're willing to beta - ships, fic length, strength/weaknesses, anything else - and don't forget to leave a way for them to contact you. This way the writers can contact you, and not post secret information about their fics ;)

Much like last year, this is where you can volunteer to beta fics for the exchange! You DO NOT have to be a participant to volunteer your beta services. Just leave a comment with a method of contact (an email address, link to your tumblr, twitter, etc.) and any ships you are and are not willing to beta for.

Since it's a requirement that all authors have their work reviewed by a beta reader, this post is to help authors connect with beta readers (and vice versa).

Betas: Comment with your LJ name, best way to contact you, and a brief description of what you can read. PLEASE provide a reliable method of contact, so that you don't miss any requests from authors and can reply as soon as possible to let them know your availability (or lack of).

Authors: You can post a request for a beta here or get in touch directly with a beta, BUT please be careful of saying anything that will give away your recipient's identity / gift!

Hi everyone,

Since we're at the halfway point and I know several of y'all are done (or close to being done) with your assignment, this is just a reminder that we have some awesome and enthusiastic beta/cheerleader volunteers at this post. So please do reach out to them, ahead of time even, to coordinate as needed. I'm always here if you need any assistance as well. Happy writing, folks!
