Things I like: - John Sheppard centric fics (dealing with his friendship with the team and the romance with Cam) - I’d like a happy ending for Sheppard with some romance. - It can be at any season or post-series, and any rating you like. - I love when Sheppard shows how smart he is or when he’s geeky about something, like comics or math… - I leave the sex (or lack of it) and how explicit it is to the author’s decision, just mind the “things I wouldn’t like” list, please. - Anything else, I leave for the author to decide. Surprise me! I love surprises.
Things I DISLIKE: - McShep (it’s ok to have them as a past relationship or something like that) or Sparky, please. I wouldn’t like Sheppard/Carter either. - Major character death. - Rape or non consensual, sexual abuse of any kind. - Extreme violence or extreme injuries for the main characters. - Sad ending. - Cheating or partner betrayal, abusive relationships, and such. - No AUs in universes not related to stargate (coffee shops, book stores, etc); or AUs with big changes from our Stargate universe where Sheppard doesn’t join the military, Mitchell never recuperates from his injuries in Antarctica, or Earth has been invaded by aliens, etc. - Crossovers with other shows that aren’t stargate (I’ve only seen the first 4 or so episodes of SGU, so please avoid in depth knowledge of this show. It’s ok if you mention it, or if you use a character as a minor character in your story, but don’t expect me to know anything about it but the mere basics). - Please avoid supernatural things like zombies, vampires, witches, etc I’m not fond of dragons either. - No gender swap. Body swap it’s ok if it’s temporary and serves the story, like in SG1’s ‘Holiday’ (in which case feel free to put whoever you want inside whoever you want, gender not withstanding). - No character bashing, please. It’s more than okay to criticize actions/decisions/etc the character made, but there’s no need for bashing. - If you write smut or include sex in the story, avoid illegal activities, scat or heavy BDSM. Aside from that, I leave it to the author. - I prefer couples, so I’d like if you avoided triads and other polyamory.
